Ardalan Shekarabi is the Iranian-born minister of the Social democratic government of Sweden. He claims that he fled Iran due to persecution. Yet, he today shook hand with the foreign minister of the Islamic regime in Iran.
Please note that the current government in Iran is one of the worst governments Iran have had since 1979. Thousands have been executed and even more have disappeared, been publicly flogged or are currently being tortured in the notorious jails of the regime. This is a regime which today were represented by Mohammad Javad Zarif, foreign minister of that country, when he visited Sweden.
The fact that Ardalan Shekarabi, as seen in the pictures here, are so delighted to meet Zarif, the symbol of torture and murder in Iran, shows clearly the close relationship he has with the Islamic regime in Iran.
Shekarabi should be ashamed. Today, however, he chose a side. Hopefully he will be loyal to this choice even when Iran one day is freed. Until then, Shekarabi remains the Swedish minister loyal to the Islamic regime in Iran. He will be remembered as the Iranian-born minister who left Iran to live in perfect freedom, but choose to turn his back on his own people living in hunger, poverty and under one of the most brutal regimes in the world today.
Mats Skogkär, a Swedish journalist, writes today how brutal the Iranian regime is. He continues writing about how students are publicly flogged and how Iran continues supporting terrorism. He ends his article by writing (my translation from Swedish to English):

Plus ça change, plus c’est la meme chôse, as the Frenchmen says. The more the Islamic Republic change, the more it remains the same.

And this Islamic republic has friends like Shekarabi. Do not forget that.
